The Butlers first visited Hot Springs Village in 1976.  It was “love at first sight,” and they bought a lot on that first visit.  They moved to the Village from Dallas, Texas in 1985 and have never regretted it.

Ed and Mary Lea met at S.M.U. in Dallas in 1956 and were married in 1959.  They have two children and a grandson and a granddaughter.  Their son Shawn is a detective with 21 years on the Dallas Police Department.  Shannon, their daughter, graduated from Jessieville High School and now teaches Spanish at Marshall University in West Virginia.

Ed and Mary Lea have been partners in Village real estate for a combined 41 years.  They continue to be amazed at the judgment, management, and service of the Property Owners Association, and the caring and volunteering of the Villagers.  They think that the North Garland County Boys and Girls Club is an excellent example of the Villagers and the local community working together to help the youth and improve the entire area.

Ed and Mary Lea are members of the Village United Methodist Church and enjoy working on the Evangelism Committee.  They feel that the many Hot Springs Village churches and service organizations are great assets and they know that those with whom they have worked agree. They feel fortunate to be in a business that helps Village buyers and sellers. 

Ed and Mary Lea look forward to being of service to those with real estate needs in the future and are grateful for their friends and customers.  The Butlers are happy that smiles and laughter are prevalent in the Village!
